Getting Started with the Checkout SDK

To get started with Tyro Health, we will need to issue you with some credentials that will allow you to interact with the our SDK. To get in touch with us, please send us an email at healthpartnerships@tyro.com and we’ll help you get started.

Overview

Tyro Health Online provides a fully hosted and managed payment page (Checkout SDK) that lets you collect payments and process claims easily and quickly for online experiences including:

• Private health insurance (PHI) claims for online consumables
• Payments for patient payments and gaps for PHI claims
• Payments for online bookings and other services

The online checkout facility is enabled for the following functions:

• Payment (full and deposit)
• Payment Holds
• Private Health Insurance claim and gap payment
• Request to update patient card details

The functionality is provided through a set of hosted web pages managed by Tyro Health Online with the capability to:

• Initiate a redirect from a booking page to the Checkout SDK experience
• Use the Checkout SDK - a client-side JavaScript library which allows interactions with Tyro Health Online from your web interface

The Javascript SDK (Checkout SDK) supports payments and health insurance claims.

For payments, we currently support:

• Visa credit and debit cards
• Mastercard credit and debit cards
• Apple Pay
• Google Pay
